Ashley Bassetti – Membership and Projects Manager

Ashley came to Civil War Trails® with over a decade of experience in public history and historical archaeology. Her work has taken her to sites across the Mid-Atlantic, and her research has focused on everything from 18th-century schoolhouses to 20th-century black powder mills. She holds a B.S. in Anthropology from Virginia Commonwealth University and an M.A. in Archaeology from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Ashley is especially passionate about engaging communities in the process of discovering and interpreting local history and finding exciting new ways to tell the lesser-known stories of the past.
