Map Features

Our new map includes your location (blue pin) and the locations of each of our 1500+ sites (red pins). Sites located at a visitor center or welcome center include an "i" on the pin.

Click on a pin to view details about each site. An information window will appear on the left side with the title, location, and a link to the sponsor website. In some cases, you will also find a brief description of the story, the year it takes place, and the campaign it is a part of when applicable.

Click anywhere on the map to close the information box.

NOTE: We are actively working on adding information to each site, and many do not have dates, campaigns, or descriptions yet. Please check back regularly for updates as we work to make the interactive map a better resource for our visitors!

Getting to a Site

If you would like directions to a site, click the arrow icon in the top right corner of the information window. Directions from your current location will open in a new window.

You can also share the site and location information with friends by clicking the "share" icon.

Please note, the addresses listed in the information window for each site are approximate. For the most accurate GPS coordinate-based directions, please navigate using these instructions.

Campaign Filters

We are working on some exciting new features for the map, including filters! To view sites by campaign, select from the "Campaign Filter" dropdown menu on the right side of the map. This will show only sites associated with the selected campaign. To turn off the filter, click "Reset" on the right side of the search bar.

NOTE: The Campaign Filter is brand new and not all campaigns have been added yet. Stay tuned as we continue to develop this feature!
