Revolutionary Stories

There are over 40 stops along the Road to Revolution that feature a diverse range of stories about the men and women who fought for American independence. Visit sites like Monticello, Red Hill, and Stratford Hall to learn how America’s Founding Fathers developed the framework for a new government. Follow Jack Jouett’s ride across Louisa County to warn state officials of approaching British troops, and experience the bravery of William Flora as he and other Continental soldiers face off against British troops in Portsmouth.
