Civil War Trails sites are grown at the grassroots, typically proposed by community organizations, individuals, and descendants. We rely on our partners to help us tell those stories. Our partners make it possible for us to maintain, update, and market each CWT site, allowing us to bring travelers into their communities to learn their stories right where they happened.
